As a Teacher and Art Educator Katie aims to provide the opportunity for children and young adults to become open minded, critical thinkers who explore their own interests and the world around them. To accomplish this Katie supplies her students with a sold base in contemporary art themes and theory, while providing demonstrations and instruction in a variety of mediums and techniques. As an artist Katie is interested in visually stimulating pieces that are bright, colourful, and full of texture. She is currently working with themes of identity and self, nature, and fantasy.
